Jean Polak is an experienced
litigator who began her legal career at what was then Tory Tory DesLauriers
& Binnington in Toronto. Called to the bar in 1989, she took a leave
of absence to spend a year in England as a Fox Scholar, working with barristers
of the Middle Temple, London.
She returned to Torys as
an associate and continued her busy practice as a civil litigator. In
1993, Jean chose to relocate to Muskoka. This move enabled her to enjoy
life in a smaller centre and to become more involved in the community, while
still pursuing her legal career.
Since coming to Muskoka,
she has added criminal litigation and wills and estates to her practice.
In Muskoka, she worked as an associate with Lee, Roche & Kelly
for several years, before opening her own practice in September 2000.
The Law Office of E. Jean
Polak offers legal services in a modern and efficient setting. The office
is located on Robert Boyer Lane, just behind the court house in Bracebridge, the
main court for the Judicial District of Muskoka.
